Services
Reverse engineering and CAD
Build an editable model from the available references. A scan still needs reconstruction and tolerance checks before it becomes a usable design.
3D printing
Produce prototypes and replacement parts after a feasibility review. Material, finish and print orientation are chosen for the intended use.
ASA or Nylon-CF: start with the application
ASA
A candidate for outdoor housings and covers where weather resistance matters. Check the specific material datasheet, temperature and mechanical demands.
Nylon-CF
A candidate for stiff workshop aids and functional parts. Moisture, print direction and the nylon formulation affect performance. The name alone does not establish certification or suitability for critical loads.
Three stages, with checks along the way
Scan
Capture the shape and mating surfaces. A damaged sample may need supporting measurements or the component it fits into.
Rebuild in CAD
Reconstruct the working geometry, then review fit, tolerances and operating conditions.
Print and check
Choose a material and print orientation. Check dimensions and fit against the requirements agreed for the job.
What goes into a quote
We consider sample condition, CAD complexity, material, fit trials, finish and quantity. Lead times are estimates confirmed after assessment, not a promise made before seeing the part.
Where extra checks are needed
Matching a shape does not guarantee matching performance. Safety-critical parts need a separate assessment and may be outside our scope. Manufacturing starts only after technical review.
